Engineering Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician with prior sUAS assembly and small component assembly experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of subsystems in an sUAS and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. A working knowledge of part numbering, BOM structures, and their integration into a product is essential. Additionally, experience with schematics, blueprints, and work instructions is required. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Support engineering efforts through mechanical assembly and sub-assembly tasks. Review customer equipment for quality and functionality. Utilize soldering skills when necessary, though not regularly. Use oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools to assist in prototype development. Follow schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to complete tasks. Inspect incoming products and assist with Root Cause and Correction Analysis (RCCA). Recognize trends in failures and components to report back to the QA department. The work hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional work needed on Saturdays.
