Test and inspect manufacturing equipment, mechanical instruments, industrial machinery so that equipment functions according to desired specifications. Check and inspect all mechanical components to fit for proper stress distribution and joint clearance. Adjust mechanical components of industrial machinery based on evaluation of designs by engineers. Perform troubleshooting process for repairing manufacturing equipment to correct malfunctions and determine areas in need of improvements. Check machinery performance by running inspections and using measuring probes to ensure conformance to desired specifications as well as performance standards.
