Job Title:

Electromechanical Technician Job Description The Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for enhancing the operating functions of manufacturing machines to meet desired goals. This includes implementing preventative maintenance programs, upgrading machines for efficient production, diagnosing and troubleshooting to resolve downtime and quality issues, and improving overall machine efficiency. Responsibilities Improve the machinery’s ability to run challenging products more efficiently. Enhance the Plant’s weekly preventative maintenance program to make it more effective and efficient. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing machinery and take corrective actions with urgency. Assist engineering in major projects and machine overhauls. Improve machinery capability by reducing set-up time and operational difficulty. Respond to after-hour emergency phone calls for machine breakdowns. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic. Skilled in welding and wiring. Understanding of preventive maintenance and electro-mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Analytical skills and electrical/mechanical comprehension. Leadership and organizational skills. Two years technical degree or five or more years of experience in an electrical/mechanical role. Experience in machine modifications and rebuilds. Basic computer skills. Forklift driving.
