Role:
Technical Engineering & Consulting, LLC is looking for a skilled Civil/Structural & Mechanical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Revit to join our growing engineering design group. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design and execution of projects across the pulp, paper, and roofing industries, creating detailed, integrated design packages for industrial facilities. This is a great opportunity for a designer who enjoys working on multidisciplinary projects , combining civil site , structural steel , and mechanical piping design in a collaborative, engineering-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and update 3D models and construction drawings using Plant 3D and Revit Design and coordinate civil site layouts , grading/drainage plans , foundations , and utility routing Draft and detail structural elements including concrete pads, steel supports, and equipment platforms Create mechanical and piping layouts , P&IDs , isometrics , and equipment drawings Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to ensure accurate and coordinated project deliverables Participate in site visits to gather field data and verify design integration Ensure compliance with industry codes, client standards, and project requirements
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience in civil, structural, and mechanical design in an industrial setting Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Revit Strong knowledge of industrial piping, structural detailing, and site layout Familiarity with standards such as
ASME , ANSI, AISC
, and ACI Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities Knowledge in the manufacturing process of pulp and paper, forestry products, and roofing is a strong plus
