Spherion is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (PLC experience preferred) for a growing food manufacturing company in Clewiston, FL.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair processing, packaging, and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
Work collaboratively with other Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Install and maintain production equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
Assist in training new Maintenance Technicians as needed.
Maintain all maintenance logs during assigned shift.
Complete pre-scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is production-ready.
Promptly respond to equipment breakdowns and unplanned downtime.
Understand and support daily business objectives; participate in shift meetings and ensure accurate documentation.
