Contract to hire Job Description Assemble parts of firetrucks by running wire, electronics, plumbing, and mechanical components on the truck. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts of the truck. Work off of shop orders to correctly install components. Work off of shop orders to correctly install components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings. Essential Skills Experience with wiring electronics. Experience running pipes/plumbing. Experience with assembly. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with tape measure. Work Environment Open air manufacturing facility that is hot during the summer and cold during the winter. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 – $16.50/hr.
