The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems and electrical components, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various machinery and equipment. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the reliability of our production processes. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Utilize precision measuring instruments and ohmmeters to assess equipment performance and diagnose issues. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively. Conduct field service tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery at client locations as needed. Operate scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas for installation or repair tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on equipment. Skills Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to work as an industrial electrician when necessary. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments of mechanical components. Ability to analyze complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Familiarity with military standards or practices is a plus but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
