Tearing down and rebuilding motors, turbines, and production lines like a pro
Swapping out gears, aligning shafts, and dialing in performance with precision
Rigging, welding, fabricating, and tuning up machines across packaging plants, energy sites, food production lines, and more
Reading blueprints like a language and turning them into working machines
Owning your craft — from capsule fillers to conveyor belts to calenders — and everything in between

High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, modify, and repair a wide range of mechanical equipment and production machinery
Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts, ensuring proper reassembly and calibration
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise mechanical adjustments
Perform mechanical alignments, shaft and gear repairs, machine rebuilds, and component replacements
Operate rigging equipment, hoists, and dollies to safely position heavy machinery and components
Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, and connect motors, couplings, and belts to tight tolerances
Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and recommend process or equipment improvements
Conduct minor fabrication, welding, and modifications as needed for repair and custom equipment setups
Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems, including pneumatic, electric, and electronic components
Monitor and troubleshoot support systems such as water treatment controls and auxiliary equipment
Perform routine inspections, repairs, and equipment upgrades to ensure continued safe operation Skills
