Job Description
Production Mechanic –
Daytona Beach Shift:
7am-5:30pm
Pay:
$20-$25/hr.
What You’ll Do:
Set up, operate, and maintain various production equipment including tube machines, piston fillers, aerosol fillers, labeling systems, shrink tunnels, and more. Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment is running at peak performance. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve machine performance. Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
? Prior experience as a Packaging Mechanic or in a similar manufacturing role ? Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills ? Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems ? Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
Bonus Skills:
?? Experience with PLCs, welding, lathe/mill operation, and part fabrication
