standards Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills About the Role We’re seeking a Sr. Production Engineer (Mechanical) to join a leading international manufacturer at its large-scale, high-volume facility just east of Atlanta. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead continuous improvement efforts, new product introductions, and equipment optimization initiatives that directly impact cost, quality, and efficiency. This is a high-visibility position with room to grow in a thriving, global organization. What You’ll Do Identify, plan, and implement improvements to enhance quality, reduce cost, and increase process efficiency Drive problem-solving and process development for new and existing manufacturing operations Lead the launch of new and revised products , ensuring smooth implementation across teams Develop and maintain documentation for PFMEA, control plans, process flows, work instructions, and inspections Provide design for manufacturing input during product development stages Perform cost-benefit analysis to justify capital investment and process changes Conduct floor layout planning for tooling, equipment, and space utilization Participate in Kaizen events and lean manufacturing initiatives Train production and maintenance teams on technical processes and troubleshooting Collaborate cross-functionally on APQP processes and continuous improvement projects Why Join?
