Located in Westborough, MA, SOTAX is a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical testing instruments including dissolution and drug release systems, automated sample preparation workstations, and physical testing equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills are required to support manufacturing activities, test, modification, fabrication, assembly and repair of electro-mechanical systems. Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts of defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions, Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Able to use a variety of hand tools. Redline documentation as needed when errors are found, or improvements are made. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Use a computer for both direct job functions and communication with fellow employees. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team player that is used to working in a small team and has the ability to perform a variety of day-to-day functions. Must be able to work independently on assignments, as well as special assignments under the direction of the Production Manager.
