Duties:
- Performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and maintaining accurate records
- Inspecting equipment regularly to identify needed repairs and safety concerns
- Training line operators on safety procedures like lock-out/tag-out
- Recommending, evaluating, and installing new equipment or line improvements
- Coordinating repairs with outside vendors and minimizing production downtime
- Maintaining clean work areas, spare parts inventory, and responding to off-hours equipment issues
Requirements:
- Graduate of technical or trade school
- 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Maine boiler license (4th class or higher) preferred
