MECHANICS NEEDED
compensation: weekly employment type: job title: Mechanics A reputable, well-established company with multiple facilities across the Northeast, is proudly partnering with major government entities such as MTA, PATH, and AMTRAK. The company is currently expanding their NYC operations and seeking Mechanical and Electrical Technicians for their Bronx location.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re hiring mechanically inclined individuals with skills in troubleshooting, wiring, assembling, modifying, and repairing. Backgrounds in automotive, diesel, aircraft maintenance, or military service are highly encouraged to apply.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be comfortable using power and hand tools (e.g., torque wrenches, ratchets, sockets, screwdrivers)
- Be able to interpret blueprints, schematics, and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Can lift up to 40 lbs
- Be detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Be team players ready to learn and grow
Responsibilities Include:
- Mechanical assembly and modifications
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Device repairs and quality control
- Report generation and analysis We’re open to first- and second-year candidates with basic mechanical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn.
