Job Summary:
Mechanic’sprimary functions are to install, troubleshoot, repair, erect,dismantle, assemble and maintain all plant equipment, machinery andstructures, while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
The individual must have a strong mechanical aptitude andmaintenance training. Experience in a manufacturing environment isessential. The Maintenance Mechanic must be able to understand andfollow written and oral directions in English. He/she must becapable of performing heavy manual labor such as climbing,crawling, lifting, and carrying. The individual is required to worka minimum of 5 days a week including Saturdays as scheduled.
Appropriate protective equipment including safety glasses andsteel-toed shoes must be worn. Must have High School Diploma orequivalency. Assignments may be indoors, or outdoors.
