Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd shift Morristown $25 – $30/hour HBF Foods 1350 Technology Way, Morristown, TN 37813 Job description East TN food manufacturing/processing plant has an immediate need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Work Hours :

The Industrial Maintenance position will be evening shift hours. Overnight shift will be from 10 p.m. – 7 a.m. This shift is Sunday – Thursday, with periodic overtime/weekend requirements.

Job Duties:

Industrial Maintenance Tech should have experience with multi-craft manufacturing maintenance for machines and other equipment. This will include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Responsibilities for manufacturing equipment, installations and building maintenance. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic, including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, during production hours. Perform preventative maintenance of production equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders or blueprints to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and necessary adjustments to machinery. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment. Knowledge of conveyers, vacuum sealers, packaging and boiler operations will be helpful. Adherence to LOTO, PPE, HACCP and Sanitation requirements. Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications:

Preferred 5 years Industrial Maintenance in a Manufacturing environment. Preferred 5 years of Mechanical and Electrical skills. Preferred 5 years of hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge. Boiler and conveyer systems experience will be helpful. Proficiency in Microsoft products. Strong understanding of commercial food processing and food packaging equipment will be helpful. Working Conditions Food processing, warehouse and food laboratory environment. The environment may be wet or dry. Temperatures may range from 38°F to 80°F. Exposure to hazardous materials. Ability to climb ladders, bend, reach and occasionally lift of up to 40 lbs. may be required. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
