Duties Description Perform a variety of routine, semiskilled maintenance, repairs, installation, and construction tasks in one or a combination of mechanical, building, motor equipment and electrical trades. May perform journey level activities under the supervision of the General Mechanic to learn and perfect skills. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview. Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades-worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course. Prospective employees whose names appear on the SEL as having been found responsible for serious or repeated acts of abuse or neglect will be barred from appointment and may have their names removed from the eligible list(s) for the title(s) if applicable.
