Plant Manager, Itinerant 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Owens Cross Roads, AL

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Be at least 18 years of age 3. Hold valid driver license and must be insurable 4. Have basic knowledge of essential functions

JOB GOAL

Maintain the physical plant in a condition of operating excellence, cleanliness and safety

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Oversees the proper maintenance of boilers 2. Performs minor maintenance work in the following areas: (a) Electrical (b) Plumbing (c) Carpentry (d) Painting (e) Mechanical 3. Checks fire extinguishers 4. Cleans out gutters, roof drains and remove trash from roofs 5. Assists maintenance crews with any emergency 6. Sprays for bugs and other pests 7. Oversees the general operation of the chiller system 8. Reports all emergency and major repairs 9. Operates power tools, performs heavy lifting, climbing, works from ladder 10. Assists in custodial duties when needed 11. Maintains grounds 12. Performs other related duties as assigned

According to Madison County Schools Salary Schedule. Actual salary will be determined by rank and experience. Current employees with questions regarding step placement on the salary schedule should contact the Personnel Department.
