Job Description Purpose of Position:
Assist maintenance technicians with projects and repairs. Maintain all mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment at an optimum operating condition to ensure maximum production and product quality as set by production line standards, as well as the equipment manufacturers projected standards.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all assigned electronic/mechanical equipment
Support plant maintenance repair work related to plumbing, sheet metal, pneumatics, electrical and electronics, including PLC and microprocessors.
Assist other crews as needed, maintain safety, housekeeping and sanitation standards in accordance with GMP’s, SSOP’s and USDA requirements.
Troubleshoot by utilizing blueprints and electrical schematics.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work at heights up to 15 feet
Must be able to climb steps and ladders
Must be able to work in tight areas
Must be able to work with hand tools
Must be able to communicate in English
Must be able to work weekends on a frequent basis

Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
