What we are looking for:
We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our properties.
Responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and performing preventative and corrective maintenance/repairs including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and interior and exterior upkeep Perform landscaping cleanup, watering, weeding, mowing, tree/bush trimming, and fertilizing as needed Daily and weekly inspection and maintenance of all common areas, homes, home-sites, and premises Complete resident requested service orders provided by management on a timely basis in accordance with company issued standards Following company safety standards Ensuring the appearance of the property is neat, safe, and welcoming Supervise maintenance work done on community by outside vendors/contractors brought in as deemed necessary by management Manage on-site tool inventory system and maintain tools in proper working condition Assisting in enforcing community rules, maintaining community safety, and responding to emergencies as needed Communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members while presenting a positive, professional image Completion, inspection, and approval of all make readies and move-ins /move-outs (if applicable) Shovel snow and operate snowplow in common areas as needed (if applicable) Pool maintenance and cleaning (if applicable) Other tasks as needed or assigned by management Requirements and expectations: A valid driver’s license is required At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment – mobile homes a plus Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry – HVAC knowledge and experience a plus Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems independently Ability to work in all types of weather conditions A significant amount of physical activity (walking, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, gripping, turning, or lifting) is required daily Comfortability and agility to crawl under homes and on top of roofs as needed Able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently
