Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Vista Manor is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the maintenance, preventive maintenance, projects, and repair of all facility equipment. Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall patching, minor plumbing, and carpentry work. Maintain internal and external grounds and building equipment in a safe and efficient manner per regulations. Ensure daily clean-up of work areas at the end of each shift or job completion. Respond to “on-call” emergency maintenance situations as needed. Oversee the maintenance department in the absence of the Maintenance Director. Support with setup and breakdown for facility events and other facility support tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred. Skilled in painting, minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance. Familiarity with servicing heating and cooling systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
