Job Summary The Grounds and Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the treatment center’s buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This position requires a versatile individual with expertise in general maintenance tasks, landscaping, and painting. Key Responsibilities Facility Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid potential issues. Maintain and repair interior and exterior structures, including doors, windows, fixtures, and furniture. Painting Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, or priming as necessary. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Maintain tools and materials for painting jobs. Groundskeeping Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots, walkways, and recreational spaces. Remove debris, leaves as needed. Safety and Compliance Inspect facilities regularly to ensure safety standards are met. Address and report any hazardous conditions promptly. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards. Additional Duties Respond to urgent maintenance requests promptly. Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events or meetings. Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized work is needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supply inventory. Responsibilities include general cleaning of patient rooms, cleaning of public spaces, and special cleaning projects. must be legal to work in the usa. Starting immediately.
