Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker Williams Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds, ensuring that all landscaping and garden areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, irrigation, and general groundskeeping tasks. Duties Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Irrigate garden areas and ensure proper watering techniques are applied. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees by performing planting, pruning, and weeding as necessary. Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as directed. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any malfunctions or repairs needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to landscape maintenance. Knowledge of lawn care practices and principles of horticulture. Experience in groundskeeping with an eye for detail in maintaining gardens and landscapes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
