We are searching for a Maintenance Assistant to join our community that is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Major Responsibilities Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas. Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving. Maintain the facility ground. Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience. Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested. Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results. Qualifications Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years’ experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred.
