Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and attractive living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. Conduct inspections and assessments of property conditions. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address any issues efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity and functionality of property equipment and systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management. Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor renovations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering necessary supplies and equipment. Collaborate with property management staff and contractors to complete larger projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance techniques. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
