DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE

: Maintenance Worker

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining all common areas and amenities in the community.

REPORTS TO

: Property Manager

REPONSIBILITIES

Employer is looking for a candidate to provide lawn care and maintenance support for a large retirement community in Avon Park. The right candidate is hard-working, has a great attitude, works well with others, and is eager to learn. The employer is committed to a drug-free workplace and will perform initial drug screening and periodic random drug testing.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.

• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools, zero-turn mower, and other lawn maintenance equipment.
• Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, blowing, weeding, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler repair & installation, minor property repairs, changing air filters, etc.
• Work is performed outdoors; the employee may be exposed to extreme heat or cold.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Driver’s License is required
• 1 year or more experience with zero-turn mower operation and/or landscaping equipment operation is preferred but not required.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$15.00 – $17.00 per hour
