Job Description:
This position supports the Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations. This is a professional position and all of the duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of Montverde Academy. This is a full time position that works 10-months from August to May. Responsibilities Support front desk operations, including check-ins, reservations, phone calls and basic administrative tasks Provides daily supervision of locker room spaces Monitors locker usage and assist with locker assignments or issues Assists with all athletic facility lost and found inquiries Provides general facility support, including equipment setup and takedown, organization, and cleanliness checks Assist with daily facility maintenance and light athletic equipment repairs as appropriate Assists with game day events and activities that occur throughout the athletic calendar Orders and manages inventory of department office supplies Other Administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. Represents the department in the most professional manner at all times Other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD, Internal Operations Requirements A bachelor’s degree is preferred; 2 years of facility operations experience Proficient with fundamental Microsoft applications such as Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Ability to serve in a Full time 10-month role; may have some evening or weekend hours due to Athletic games and events Candidates should positively impact others, have a high energy level, driven to complete tasks, and committed to high standards.
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
