Beach & Parks Maintenance Worker Position Available In Lee, Florida

Job Summary:

Parks/Beach Maintenance/Grounds Worker Do you want to work on the BEACH? If yes then we have a job for you! We have openings and great opportunities with an Island City in Lee County Beach view!! This position would require a experience maintenance and grounds worker who is flexible and does not mind working 4 ten hours days and weekends! This is working for a City that is a well know tourist attraction and close to beach and recreation areas. Some duties that may be required: This position requires a person who has good maintenance skills, plumbing for drain repair and troubleshooting for pubic and city facilities like restrooms, kitchens, city buildings. Light electrical switches, hang fans, install window air units. Light carpentry for minor repairs also is a requirement. This would be working with parks and beach public building such as restrooms, tourist buildings and any other city building in the area. They would also help paint and maintain parking lots and beach and park outside areas Required Education, Experience, License, Registration, and Certification Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Vocational training/certification with major course work in the skilled trades, supplemented by one (1) year responsible experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting and minor electrical; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Qualifications:

Must have previous maintenance/ground experience and or skilled labor experience Must have a valid driver’s license Must have a flexible schedule in the event a repair needs to be made

Full Time temp to hire

Pay:

$20.75 to start with room for growth

Schedule:

Days and start times vary with start Average is 6am-5:30pm You work 4 ten-hour days.
