Position includes but not limited to: Mowing, Edging, Weeding, Trimming, Plant/Sod Installation, etc. We are looking for someone who has the knowledge already in this field of work. Someone who is reliable to show up and works efficiently. We work through the week doing our regular lawn maintenance for our residential and commercial clients. Occasional weekends opportunity for extra pay on side jobs. Summary As a Lawn Maintenance Groundsman Worker, you will be essential in maintaining the aesthetic and health of outdoor spaces through effective lawn care and mowing practices. Reporting to the Landscape Supervisor/Foreman, your role involves utilizing core skills in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, along with premium mechanical knowledge to operate various equipment. You will also apply relevant skills in irrigation, gardening, and tree care to ensure vibrant and well-kept landscapes. Qualifications Strong knowledge of lawn care and maintenance practices, including but not limited to mowing, edging, weeding, trimming, plant/sod installation etc. Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment for landscaping tasks Experience in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping Familiarity with irrigation systems and gardening methods Ability to operate excavators and other machinery as needed Understanding of tree care and construction-related tasks in outdoor settings Responsibilities Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance. Utilize hand tools and machinery, such as excavators, for landscape maintenance and construction projects. Implement irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants and grass. Conduct tree care and groundskeeping activities to enhance the overall aesthetic of outdoor spaces. Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete landscaping projects while adhering to safety standards.
