This role typically involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The Maintenance Associate will also perform renovation projects to transform rooms according to Maintenance Director’s requirements. This role involves a range of tasks, including demolition, construction, finishing, and quality assurance. The hours for the position will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call availability required every other weekend.

Maintenance Associate Job Summary:

The Maintenance Associate will perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and machinery to ensure they are in optimal working condition. The role includes troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency maintenance requests. The Maintenance Associate will also assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance:

Perform maintenance on buildings, equipment, rooms and systems.

Repairs:

Repair mechanical, electrical, and strong plumbing knowledge in facilities and equipment.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to resolve issues quickly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Collaboration:

Work with other team members and departments to ensure effective maintenance support.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is highly desirable.

Skills:

Basic electrical knowledge/skills. Strong mechanical, plumbing and handyman skills a must. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
