Property Operations Assistant Once Upon A Beach Vacation Rentals 411 Pine Avenue, Anna Maria, FL 34216 We are boutique short term vacation rental company on Anna Maria Island. We are currently looking for a qualified, reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working candidate to join a small business team and assist us with our growing small business. Will be based out of our office on Pine Avenue on Anna Maria Island but will need to be able to drive to different properties, stores, etc as required. Local area knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and self-starter qualities are a must. May be working alone in office at times. Must have car. Previous vacation rental industry experience preferred. Would be a great opportunity for business/hospitality/entrepreneurship college graduate looking for a unique employment and learning opportunity with potential for future employment and/or growth within our company and industry.
Schedule:
FT 32-40

Job Overview:
The Property Operations Assistant will be a multi-faceted & role position. We are looking for a flexible, reliable, highly organized, and attention to detail person to join our team in a full-time/part time position. They will be primarily responsible to support our Property Operations Officer by performing inspections/ guest arrival preparation of luxury vacation homes and for maintaining the physical condition of our homes from both a preventative and corrective standpoint. Performing basic to moderate maintenance tasks like AC filter changing, pool skimming, debris removal, propane tank exchange, etc. They will additionally be responsible for overseeing our golf cart rental operations including scheduling, tracking, executing pick-up/deliveries and performing clean-up, and upkeep maintenance day-to-day. They will support the team by manning office/shop as required, making golf cart bookings via walk-in, phone, or online, and deliver items to homes and perform minor maintenance tasks at properties as required. Environment & Position Analysis:
Move, bend, lift, carry, climb stairs/ladders, get on hands/knees, push, pull, reach and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift including working intermittently outside of home in environmental weather conditions and heat/cold. Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee golf cart rental operations including maintaining carts in a clean, safe and exceptional condition/state including cleaning, re-fueling, and performing minor repairs.
- Assist with handling golf cart reservations and guest communications in planning, scheduling, and executing pick-up/delivery of carts.
- Ensure that maintenance requests are handled in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Organize, prioritize, delegate, track and complete work orders including information regarding to time and expenses incurred.
- Perform home inspections and prepare homes for guest arrivals per company guidelines as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle guests and their concerns with care and concern
- Comply with standards and encourage safe and efficient property management operations.
- Implement and execute preventative maintenance program for all single-family homes.
- Assist as necessary with special projects and renovations.
- Support and participate in company meetings and objectives Qualifications and Education Requirements 1-3 years of related experience Basic Maintenance Tasks Experience Minor Automotive/Golf Cart Driving Experience Eligible to work in the United States High school diploma or equivalent Valid FL driver’s license required with clean driving record Privately owned/leased vehicle to be used during business hours with proper insurance.
