Building Maintenance Assistant Oceania III Condominium Association Sunny Isl Bch, FL Job Details Full-time $16 – $17 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Mid-level High school diploma or GED Electrical experience Plumbing 2 years Communication skills Water treatment Full Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Building Engineer, the Building Maintenance Assistant’s responsibilities would include assisting the Building Engineer in: Performing preventative maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems Handling & fulfilling day-to-day maintenance/engineering work orders (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) Surveying building for maintenance/safety needs Prepare Surfaces & Paint Pressure wash surfaces when needed Load and unload supplies from delivery trucks Respond to emergency and after-hours incidents, if called Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements The candidate should possess:

High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ years demonstrated experience in the field of commercial building operations Some working experience with major equipment, including cooling towers, pumps, air handlers, water treatment and related ancillary equipment Some working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems Must be able to work in a team environment and must possess good written and verbal communication skills Must be able to deal professionally with building residents/guests and vendors
