Greenhouse Maintenance Techincian Central Florida Ferns & Foliage 2600 Junction Road, Zellwood, FL 32798 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, including landscaping and greenhouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for maintaining our greenhouses, outdoor spaces, contributing to the overall aesthetic and operational efficiency of our environment. Duties The Maintenance Person will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Have experience with repairing and installing irrigation lines
• Able to use and maintain our current inventory of pressure washers, lawn equipment and spray equipment.
• Assist in helping to build and/or replace wet pads as needed
• Having experience with electrical is a plus
• Keeping all facilities clean from debris, tree limbs etc.
• Being able to install new fans and routine maintenance of belts and tension.
• Maintain all the mules, tractors and golf carts onsite
• Installing ground cover when needed
• Assist with building new beds in the greenhouses
• Replace light bulbs and fuses when needed
• Basic irrigation and plumbing work
• Able to use hand and power tools
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to see and repair issues on hand
• Assist with poly installation when needed and work at Heights and on Ladders
• Perform preventative maintenance task
• Ability to work outdoors and can handle high temperatures
• Welding Experience is a plus
• Have a Valid and good standing Driver’s license
• Have a sense of Urgency and ability to prioritize tasks
• Understand that the job is not complete until the site is cleaned up
• Mechanically Inclined
• Keep track of company tools and return to proper sites.

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour
