Full Job Description Position:

Clay Court Maintenance Assistant Immediate Supervisor:

Director of Tennis Responsibilities:

• Assist in the Maintenance and Upkeep of Overall Court Quality and Conditions
• Assist in preparation of all courts for daily morning and afternoon play by raking, sweeping, lining all courts and scarifying around court as well as clean all tables, chairs and remove any excess debris
• Communicate with tennis staff on availability and conditions of the courts.
• Irrigation repair for clay court watering system
• Regular maintenance of tennis ball machine as required
• Schedule and perform necessary periodic court maintenance tasks
• Executes clay court resurfacing and relining of the courts annually.
• Upkeep of tennis fencing/construction as needed
• Maintain proper inventory of court and facility supplies
• Pressure wash walkways and pavers surround tennis courts.
• Organize and execute the set up and take down of windscreens for periodic maintenance and hurricane season.
• Maintain area around the tennis facility and pool
• Update and reset all complimentary tennis court services
• Maintains positive rapport with residents, co-workers and management at all times.
• Regular service checks and refills of the Water/Ice/Gatorade stations
• Disbursement of match balls for all ladies teams prior to SPBCWTA match
• Preparation of courts prior to all Oaks’ Special Events. i.e. mixers, round robins and inter-club match
• Facility clean-up after all Oaks’ Special Events
• Tennis ball pick-up, recycle and disposal
• Tennis equipment construction and repair (teaching baskets, court drying tools, ball hoppers and tubes.
