Summary We are seeking a General Maintenance professional to join our team at Ibero Property Management & Real Estate. This role is vital in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our properties, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality property management services. The Maintenance Tech will perform duties necessary to the maintaining of apartment buildings ,Condos , duplexe and triplexes appearance, cleanliness, safety, repairs and general upkeep including the buildings, amenities, common area and grounds for all the properties under management . The Maintenance Technician should be a strong communicator and must be able to work with and manage daily interactions with tenants, management and vendors. Operation of a variety of hand tools and equipment will be required. The Maintenance Technician must be able to perform minor electrical, plumbing, grounds keeping, and carpentry work. Additionally, he or she will assist with repairs to tile, doors, concrete, paint & patch walls, roof patch, move furniture, installing cabinets, assist with grounds & housekeeping, and other work as required. This role requires the Maintenance Technician be able to work efficiently and effectively with outside contractors/vendors to make repairs and troubleshoot issues that may arise. Responsibilities Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Customer service oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Two or more years of working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance and repair. The ability to maintain the physical condition of the facility according to company operating and safety standards and ensure that service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner. Perform routine maintenance tasks on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers. Assist in the coordination of repairs and renovations as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory supplies. Collaborate with the property management team to enhance tenant satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, construction, handyman, or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with tenants and staff. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
