Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated groundskeeper/maintenance worker to join our team. As a groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the common areas of a 338 Unit luxury Apartment community. This position involves a variety of custodial and basic maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.

Duties:

• Perform a range of cleaning and maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, bulk trash removal, light bulb replacement, and window cleaning.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines for handling cleaning solutions and hazardous chemicals.
• Assist in emergency cleaning situations and ensure trash removal on designated days.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and keep equipment in good working condition.
• Conduct minor painting tasks on walls, doorways, and curbs as needed.
• Change light bulbs and perform minor maintenance tasks as required.
• Utilize power washing equipment to pressure wash walkways, buildings, and other property areas.
• Follow security procedures diligently and maintain a professional relationship with building staff.
• Complete daily work orders promptly and ensure compliance with safety protocols according to OSHA standards.
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.

Experience:

• Previous experience in custodial work, buffing, industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, residential painting, commercial cleaning, or floor care is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $19.00. The expected work hours are 40 per week with benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and paid time off. A driver’s license is preferred for this role.
