Position:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the care and keeping of residential and commercial properties within the People Places LLC portfolio in downtown New Port Richey.

Essential Functions:

Groundskeeping for residential and commercial properties Daily upkeep of exterior areas and parking lots Clean and maintain building stairways Trash removal from common areas, dumpster enclosures, stairways Maintain outdoor community spaces, grill, and dog washing station Water, weed, and maintain plants at commercial and residential properties Storm season preparation Assist Supervisor as needed Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping Strong skills in lawn care, gardening, and horticulture Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks Knowledge of irrigation systems and their upkeep Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on grounds and facilities Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs, bend, reach, and stand for long periods Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Attention to detail and ability to follow directions Ability to work independently and under supervision Customer service and communication skills Must pass background screening

Experience Requirement:

Minimum of 6 months’ experience with specific competence in groundskeeping and maintenance of residential and/or commercial properties.
