Part-Time Maintenance/Property Oversight Confidential Treasure Island, FL 33706 Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to oversee our small multi-unit residential beachfront building in beautiful Treasure Island, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are maintained in optimal condition, performing minor repairs, and overseeing various maintenance tasks. This role requires someone who can work independently without supervision, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Perform minor repairs around the common areas of the property. Oversee the work of outside vendors to ensure it is being performed to the building’s standards such as lawn maintenance and pool maintenance. Supervise and coordinate with outside contractors on larger projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Report urgent issues to the building association’s board Occasional need for unplanned/emergency requests (such as meeting elevator repair company if there’s an issue) Storm preparedness in the event of hurricane conditions Skills Proficient experience in facilities maintenance. Strong supervisory skills to manage outside vendors effectively during maintenance projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues. Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes. Handyman skills to assist with small projects in the common areas are a plus. We anticipate this role will require approximately 10 hours monthly. The schedule can be flexible based on availability, but some activities, such as overseeing projects, might require meeting with vendors at specific times.
