Tuition Reimbursement Per Year Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, furnishings and property. Assisting with the implementation of a facility wide maintenance program that ensures the safety and well-being of residents, staff and visitors Following established maintenance tasks according to policy and procedures and facility quality assurance standards Maintaining all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and seasonal preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and property Performing unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed Coordinating with other departments work schedules to avoid interference and unnecessary interruption
Qualifications:
Maintenance Assistant Qualifications Have a thorough understanding of the best maintenance practices The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English Language The possession of an active driver’s license in the State of employment. Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required Have a Technical Schooling in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or mechanical is preferred but not required
