Maintenance Technician Assistant Tru by Hilton 107 Providence Boulevard, Macon, GA 31210 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing various maintenance tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who possesses strong technical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal performance. Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting logic controllers. Fabricate and weld components as needed to support facility operations. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure safety standards are met. Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. Supervise and guide junior maintenance staff during projects and repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment status. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively. Proficiency in electrical systems, including knowledge of logic controllers. Ability to weld and fabricate components as required for repairs. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter and reading schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
