Compensation:

Competitive starting pay range of $27.47-$33.43 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities
Job purpose
The er Mechanic role is responsible for maintaining production equipment in the er area and responding to trouble calls as needed.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities are:
Follows all documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
Performs er general maintenance.
Utilizes quarterbacking to facilitate change overs.
Supports production in all areas to troubleshoot and address problems.
Maintains spare parts inventory.
Documents daily maintenance activity.
Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
Maintains effectivemunication with operators and plant supervision.
Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
Maintains excellent safety record.
Maintains excellent attendance record.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
Experience required:
Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successfulpletion of jobs or similar activities.
Demonstrated selfpliance withpany policies and procedures.
Experience with aputerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.
Skills
An individual must have the following skills in the er Mechanic position:
Interpersonal skills.
Basicputer knowledge.
Demonstrate initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.
Effectivemunication skills.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical requirements
This position is located in a manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include but are not limited to:
Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
Working conditions
An individual that works in the er Mechanic position:
Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and work in a hot/cold environment.
Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Technical certification in a related field preferred
