Landscape Company – Assistant Lawn Maintenance Division Manager Miller Landscape Inc. Woodstock, GA 30188 Summary Description The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for maintaining good customer relations in the field, handling customer requests, conducting regular property reviews, and selling small enhancements. Through regular training programs, the Field Service Supervisor will work with the crews to ensure job quality and safety. Specific Responsibilities The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all duties listed and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices. Conduct weekly meetings with crews Keep proper records and complete paperwork as assigned Maintain property profiles Focus on retaining, resolving issues, and inspecting current customer properties by regularly assessing and determine customers’ needs Schedule and conduct property reviews, fill out evaluation forms, and rate accordingly Maintain updated customer notes in software programs to ensure property needs and customer preferences are being addressed Instruct all crew members in the proper methods and techniques applicable to the work Inspect the job site, review customer ideas and alternative options, discuss budget considerations, and define objectives of job Prepare and present a professional and customized analysis and recommendation of service, including quotes for additional enhancements, for each customer Enthusiastically and consistently follow up on all sales leads and in-person contacts Conduct ethical and honest sales activity with the customer Responsible for the following daily tasks: o Enforcing Company policy o Ensuring Customer Satisfaction o Direction and management of daily tasks o Lawn Maintenance quotes as scheduled and directed o Chemical quotes as scheduled and directed o Clean-up quotes as scheduled and directed o Mulch/Seasonal Color quotes where design is not required o Maintenance and Chemical Service calls regarding customer satisfaction/issue management o Performing Property Inspections as scheduled o Minor Irrigation Repairs o Minor Lighting repair o Minor Enhancement work as directed Schedule additional jobs to be completed with Maintenance Division Manager and communicate schedule to the customer Perform other duties as required by Maintenance Division Manager Oversee clean up projects for new maintenance customers to ensure property is ready for routine service. Meet with customer to verify property lines and notes at this time, if available. Communicate with the Enhancement Crew Leader about delivery schedules, material problems, and delays in order to communicate that with the customer Order (when applicable) plant material for warranties and communicate to customer as to what date that warranty will be resolved Approve crew time sheets daily Communicate with the office staff regularly Communicate with the Assistant Field Service Supervisor regularly (If applicable) Communicate with the Maintenance Sales Representative regularly Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
