Job Description Job Summary:

Assists one or more workers in theskilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general dutiesof lesser skill, such as keeping a worker supplied with materialsand tools; cleaning work area, machine, and equipment; assistingjourney-level worker by holding materials or tool; and performingother unskilled tasks as directed by craftsperson or parts of atrade that are also performed by workers on a full-time basis. Thekind of work the helper is permitted to perform varies from tradeto trade. In some trades the helper is confined to supply, lifting,holding materials and tools, and cleaning working areas. in others,they are permitted to perform specialized machine operations.

Performs other duties as assigned. Strongly Preferred

• CFCUniversal Refrigerant Class A Minimum Qualifications
• High schoolgraduate or equivalent
• Verifiable vocational training or one (1)year verifiable experience working in the field of heating,ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC).
• Must beable to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must possess avalid state driver’s license
• Must have and wear hard-toed safetyshoes which meet

ASTM F2413-05

standards

• Successful candidatewill be subject to a government security investigation and mustcontinually meet eligiblity requirements for access to all areas ofNaval Submarine Base Kings Bay. /n Physical Requirements
