Minimum Qualifications Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, formal training programs, or on-the-job training. Preferred Qualifications Position Summary The position will assist in facilities maintenance, construction, and general upkeep of physical properties. This position is responsible for troubleshooting non-complex facilities problems and providing preventive, corrective, and predictive solutions for such problems routinely. This position is responsible for reporting information to management concerning the changing conditions of the University’s facilities and equipment in assigned areas as well as making recommendations for improvements and upgrades to facilities. This position will be a first responder to trouble calls and
emergent needs. Secondary responsibilities of this position include maintaining appropriate documentation and maintenance records, personal timekeeping records, and summarizing actions in writing. This position performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. This position receives instruction and direct supervision from senior technicians, shop managers, and Operations and Maintenance Leadership. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

  • Experience completing basic repairs
