What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintain and repair the building exterior and interior, including resident apartments, common areas, equipment, and grounds. Proactively handle routine and emergency maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work. Ensure the safety and functionality of walkways, driveways, parking areas, and community spaces. Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and improvements when needed. Monitor and track maintenance issues using a daily log and follow up promptly. Support apartment turnover and help the housekeeping team with deep-cleaning tasks as needed. Stay up to date on safety codes and maintain strong relationships with local inspectors and contractors. Assist with community emergency preparation, participate in monthly safety meetings, and help train staff on emergency systems. Occasionally assist as a backup driver for transporting residents on outings and appointments.

Who We’re Looking For:

Someone 21 years or older with at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.). A professional with a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation. A team player who is organized, dependable, and customer-service oriented. Someone comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds as needed. Strong communicator who can effectively and respectfully engage with residents and coworkers. A problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and can respond to urgent maintenance issues.

Your Skills & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Proficiency with basic maintenance tools and equipment. Ability to coordinate with contractors and vendors. Understanding of emergency systems and building safety protocols. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
