Driven by our mission, vision and values, employee and food safety are always our top priority •$1000 sign – on bonus ($250 paid after 3 months, $250 paid after 6 months, $500 paid after 1 year of employment•Job Description Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator/Planner is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department by ensuring all activities are organized and running efficiently. The Maintenance Coordinator will ensure that maintenance technicians have required tools and parts to perform their duties. The Maintenance Coordinator will work as a liaison between maintenance and production to ensure that maintenance work is completed timely and efficiently. The Maintenance Coordinator will work closely with the maintenance team to coordinate maintenance tasks, prepare and plan for preventative maintenance programs and assess ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Maintenance department. Job Responsibilities Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level Manage spare parts inventory and purchase, with guidance & approval, equipment, tools, or materials that may be required. Provides input into spare part stocking decisions based on usage, criticality, risk, cost, and operating maintenance budget planning. Monitor and analyze PM reports, work orders to optimize effective and efficient PM procedures, planning and scheduling Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the company’s physical assets running smoothly. Assist with developing a comprehensive maintenance budget for maintenance services and necessary equipment and supplies. Monitor usage of tools and equipment and ensure tools are readily available for assigned tasks and performing regular inspections. Support technicians during their daily equipment inspections and take care of maintenance logs. Provide a wide variety of administrative assistance to managers, especially in the areas of managing work orders, estimates for repair costs, etc. Schedule work based on work priority, equipment availability, and available personnel. Facilitates weekly maintenance scheduling Follow-up to check planning and scheduling accuracy Strong planning, problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Work with department leaders on coordination of planned work and support unplanned work as necessary. Other duties as required. Education And Experience High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1-3 years as a maintenance coordinator/planner Experience in manufacturing environment preferred Strong organizational and planning skills Strong analytical / decision-making skills Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities. Detail-oriented, willingness to learn, creativity, and sense of urgency. EMaint experience a Plus! Task and project oriented Ability to work some off shifts and weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Work Environment Able to work in varied temperature environments (0-50 deg.)
