Job responsibilities will include:

Primary duties include preventive maintenance on industrial processing equipment. (Greasing, maintaining fluid levels, periodic inspections to identify faults and deficiencies, cleaning of equipment, facilities maintenance and more.) Assists technicians with repairs and other maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Assists with mobile equipment repairs and preventative maintenance (Skid Steer / Forklift / Excavator /Yard Dog). Assists with larger repairs and rebuilds. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education required:

High School Diploma or GED Skills:

Ability to adhere to safety standards and regulations in an industrial production environment is required. Strong mechanical aptitude is required. Strong attention to detail is required. Working knowledge of hand and power tools is required. Knowledge of Industrial preventative maintenance techniques is a big plus. Familiarity with industrial equipment, conveyors, sorters and other equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, or welding and fabrication is a plus. Experience with mobile equipment maintenance / PMs is a plus.

Summary:

This is an entry position and yet critical to the maintenance department and production goals. Strong applicants will have strong aptitude, reliability and attention to details.
