Non-Exempt Job Summary Serves patrons at dockside of marina by performing the following duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Secures boat to dock with mooring lines. Webbing docks and trash removal. Pressure washes docks. Refuels boating vessels. Pressure cleaning of boating vessels. Connects utility lines (telephone, power, and water) to boat. Operates motor vehicle to transport patrons and baggage to and from dockside. Reports disturbances in dock area to superior. Pumps water from boats. Delivers ice and written messages to patrons. Polices dock area. When marina is not in season, employee use basic understanding of tools to work with the maintence team to provide maintence around the club. Will experience hot heat in the summer and cold days in the winter. Maintenance jobs could consist of but isn’t limited to: plumbing, electrical, gas equipment, the usage of power tools, painting, cleaning windows and fixtures, etc.

Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a driver’s license. Knowledge of North End Lake Lanier water ways (Preferred).
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
