Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and back-of-house areas. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms. Replace light bulbs and other minor fixtures. Move and arrange furniture as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests for assistance. Assist in basic maintenance tasks, such as unclogging toilets and minor repairs, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Lift and move objects weighing up to 40-50 pounds. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Experience Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 40-50 lbs). Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn basic maintenance skills. Previous housekeeping or maintenance experience is a plus. These task below are higher pay grade if knowledgeable. Perform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing light fixtures and switches. Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
