Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker Maxwell House 1002 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that both indoor and outdoor areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscaping, groundskeeping, and general maintenance tasks. Duties Perform routine maintenance on buildings and grounds, including cleaning, repairs, and upkeep. Utilize power tools and hand tools for various maintenance tasks. Maintain landscaped areas by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and caring for gardens. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs. Assist in landscape maintenance projects as needed, ensuring high standards of appearance. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance tasks efficiently. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools for maintenance tasks. Knowledgeable in landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and gardening techniques. Ability to irrigate effectively to promote healthy plant growth. Strong groundskeeping skills with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to facility upkeep.
