The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires general knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various systems, including electrical and plumbing. The Maintenance Person will also supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with other team departments to maintain high standards of facility upkeep. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform general repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related issues. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems effectively. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and preventive maintenance tasks. Execute painting tasks as needed to ensure aesthetic appeal and upkeep of facilities. Collaborate with management to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Knowledgeable in basic electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required. Must be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety practices in all maintenance activities. Swimming Pool and pump experience preferred.
